I'm not to familiar with politics in the UK tbh.. But I'll say it nevertheless.

LFPME is small compared to CFoI. Corbyn is the only MP sitting in the first group, versus about 15 in the latter group.

Politically anti-semitism is a strong shaming point for discrediting some-one, while most politicians are trying to root out any type of racism in our societies, this is what ppl are trying to avoid above being xenophobic a racist or Russiafoob (just made that one up). And the one point where politicians can score points for the general public to condemn any form of antisemitism. I'm still completely fine with giving an extra social protection to specific minorities within our current constructed society. But it does result in these type of political statements from McDonnell and vague news reports.

Conservative friends of Israel are not (all) Jews. Neither is it a 'Jewish' special interest group but a special interest group in support of Israel.

There is a difference between Jews and Israel - I feel like we covered this already.
