A few years later when I was playing (2012-2014) such items were worth even 3-4k each, but a few years ago (2-3?) some people created much more of them and atm most of them are worth about ~250 fg each.

I doubt it after the recent banwaves. There are a few topics from people asking for socket items without respons.
I dont sell my socket items vs 250 i rather wait a bit longer.

Same happened with light facets on lod. Bought a bunch of them before the banwave and bots still running around @ 10 fg each. sold my last ones vs 100 fg each.
So patience = profit :). I dont make sell topics just respond on topics offering ridiculous price for a needed item.
But then i dont need fg at all. . And no i dont donate
