You can buy gold with fg or buy a token through blizzard for $20 that gives you gold in game.
Undercity is where horde vendor is.
Iron forge is for the alliance vendor.
Heirlooms can go to level 110 now as long as you upgrade them. You have to get into a guild that has certain heirlooms unlocked and get rep with the guild to buy some of them.
