future proofing is a joke,
reason i say this is cause no one knows what games or any new software will require.
your only assuming that you'll be able to upgrade to it.

best thing is to buy for what you need now ideally.

My dell integrated graphics desktop held me for 15 yrs im sure this build will last me a lifetime
