Personally, I can't believe Marvels culmination of 10 years is finally coming in April. The beginning war with Thanos who is known as one of the strongest marvel villains ever created. Personally, my hope for this movie is that they can continue to surprise yet stay true to formula. Obviously the drama needs to be taken to peaks and avengers are going to bite the dust (captain America in my opinion) but time will only tell. Itd be great for a nice backstory to Thanos and a plausible story with the 40 plus characters they have jammed in this.
So many people saying "the culmination of 10 years finally coming" but that is so inaccurate. As someone who doesn't really care much about Marvel I'm stunned with how little actual knowledge Marvel fans have.
Avengers 1 was the culmination of Marvel's entire plan. Putting Thanos at the end was supposed to be an Easter egg not an end goal. However fans going fucking apeshit basically forced Marvel to go here, it was never the original plan. And tbh you can tell that is true by the movie quality being all over the fucking board.
