Put her all together and i cannot get any kind of display on the monitor.

A few things to check, did you wear an anti static strap or earth yourself out on a metal part at all times while you worked?
Does the power supply have a switch and is it on?
Can you get us an internal pic so we can see if you missed any connections?
Does the actual tower power up and just not give you any picture on the monitor?
Are you plugging the monitor in on the right output? There may be more than one dvi/hdmi output.

Are you plugging it into the mobo connector or the gfx card connector? its possible your mobo doesn't have built in graphics

This 1050 dosent require an additional power hook up, it just slides into the mobo

I'm talking about the actual display ports on the back of the tower. Your mobo will have hdmi/vga/dvi whatever and so will your gfx card. My mobo's don't work as i don't have intergrated gfx. Are you plugging into the mobo directly for your display output or the gfx card?
