By counteract Amp, it’s meant that Amp has no effect on you, so you take the same damage Amped or not. If you have 100% total DR as Marieusz says (SS, Shaft, fade lvl 35), Amp will bring you down to 0% DR and you’ll be taking twice as much damage compared to someone having 150% DR (SS, Shaft, CoA Ber Ber, SoE, Fade lvl 39), where Amp would still leave you with 50% DR.
Correct, as I said

You''re already at 50% if you're at 100%. Therefore you need 100% physical resistance stack to remain at the 50% cap, Melatonina is just confused as always. He even screenshotted where I said it.

I'm still going to say it is a language misunderstanding lol. I don't see anything wrong with my scenarios, I also know that babs statement is correct as well. For both statements to be correct, it is clear that two different ideas are being discussed.. 1. Negating the effects of amp in a given situation (add 100%DR). 2. Making yourself completely immune to amp at all times (having 150% DR equipped). Whatever the OP meant, I don't know. But those are the two pieces of info I have taken out of this discussion.
That's a possible scenario, as I said

If you're goal is to reach a certain resistance value after Amp, such as 0% or 15% then you are right, regardless you still need 100% stack.
The question was undefined in terms of what he wanted, you could argue that if you are at 100% then you are already at 50% so need 100 stack, or you could just want to 'break even',
as the op wanted, and be at 0%, so as not to be taken into the negative.
Regardless, you need 100% stack to counter Amp
Melatonina tried desperately and failed.
Adding this humiliation to the top post
