I have the ASUS Z-170K I bought a cheap Pentium G4400 to get it going and update the BIOS on my motherboard. Now that that is done.. will it support 8th gen or do I have to go with a 7th gen?

I figured I heard only the 370s are supporting 8th gen atm. So best I can do is 7th gen then correct?

yea.. just to confirm this, both run LGA1151 socket but only chipset Z370 supports 8gen atm... H370 and B360 should also be coming soon, which is cheaper and runs 8gen

upgrade your mobo goy
why would you expect it to still be relevant after.. what has it been now, 2 years?! why would new cpu's work with it... do you want intel to starve to death or something?
