It only sold copies because it had the "diablo" name. If it didn't have that, it would have flopped worse than it did.

More people play/enjoy diablo 2 over this stillborn game.

TL:DR - Game is shit, do not play under any circumstance.

D1 and D2 is better, we get it. POE is the real D3, hurray for you. If you like those games or other games better than D3, go play them and leave us alone.


To the OP: Depends. If you have hours per day to spend on a game, I'd go for something else. If you're a casual player, then in D3 you can feel rewarded for the time you play, unlike in games you have 0.00001% chance of a good drop.
There are many things to do like story mode or adventure mode where you have bounties, rifts, greater rifts, set dungeons, and you can get the items you need quite fast through drops, gambling, upgrading, and you can even tweak your items.
