Hello,

I was able to go from 195 to 172lbs since mid Oct 2017. However, I still have a huge gut. Do I need to switch things up or stay consistent to what I was doing:

Hypertrophy/Strength hybrid program.
Macros are about 35% protein, 25% carbs, 40% fats (calories, not grams).

Thanks

The guy is from excessive bf.

Not sure what your doing, but your macros seem fine. Start doing some weight training so you aren’t just becoming skinny fat.

stay consistent, looks fine overall. If / when weight loss stalls, cut a bit back on caloric intake or add a bit of cardio

keep up the nice work!

When you say weight training do you mean in addition to the hypertrophy/strength hybrid program I have already been running?

It's pretty intense and includes the compound lifts (bb squats, dls, bench, military, pull ups etc...) lots of other things (db lunges, lateral raises, skull crushers, hammer curls, all sorts of rows/pull downs, rear delt stuff, etc...) some days go up to 20 reps, some days are 4 reps of stuff or something like a 12 10 6 4 rep scheme for some stuff.

thanks!

Just incorporated HIITs 3 times a week and morning brisk walks. Hopefully I'll see some continued results.

Ok ok..
1. Donate
2. Lift minimal weights? Weight training is just as/more vital for weight loss than any form of cardio.
3. Carbs don’t make you fat bruh, calorie surplus makes you fat.

Do yourself a favor and do the opposite of what Nevada suggests, you'll probably get better results just by that general rule of thumb

literally everyone here is overly excessive in their answers

2 things necessary to lose the gut and look decent

1.) be in a caloric deficit
&
2.)train for progressive overload
