I was really looking forward to this movie when it came out, but I remember someone whose opinion I valued saying it was shit so I kind of just dropped it. Will be good to get back to it now.

I know.

But sometimes you just have to see some bad movies to appreciate the good ones.

I watched half of vampiyahs and all of the tomb

Rewatched it yesterday, can't express how much I love this movie.

I love Amelie with whom I always fall in love whenever I watch it.
I love the camera that almost dances with you intimately.
I love the Soundtrack that underlines the pictures so perfectly that it creats a magic atmosphere.
I love the fast pace with the unusual style of presenting szenes and characters.

For me it's just the essence of movie magic that always catches me and leaves me with a smile on my face.

Very nice movie. The main character is very scheme-y in a way that is hard to pin down if you should love her or be taken aback by her harshness.

The style of shooting and sound design reminds me a lot of some art house film, or Wes Anderson, except I was actually engaged and wanted to see what would happen in Amelie. Underneath the arthouse wes anderson quirky just to be quirky there is actually a deep and moving story about life and taking a chance. Something that I probably need to do more of.

It's one of these movies I've refused to watch, because of people I know that have it as their favorite.

That's definitely a terrible reason to not see a movie.
