dunno why I see it with 4:3 aspect

You can remove the fixed aspect ratio by adding the following parameter to your game's "Target:" line: -w -nofixaspect
Right-click the game's shortcut -> Properties -> Shortcut -> "Target:"

Example of the "Target:" line's text:
"C:\Program Files (x86)\Diablo II\Diablo II.exe" -w -nofixaspect

This will allow you to stretch the game to fit your monitor (double click the bar in the top of the game window to do this).

Other than that, the game will always be native 4:3 fixed aspect ratio, but the above will allow you to at least stretch the game window.

doing that is against their ToS except for single player.
