I heard somewhere that letter hotkeys are 'faster' than F1,F2,F3.. keys ?

Is this true? can someone explain. Thanks.

I use a,s,d,z,x,c. It's all right where your hand normally sits no fumbling for an fkey and it's right next to alt and shift

It depends on what you're playing. Some builds don't have enough hotkeys for it to really matter.
I do fkeys on sorc and trapper, letter keys for most other casters

Letters > F keys

Pala
E - Concentration
D - Teleport
S - Holy SHield
V - Vigor
X- Town portal skill
C - Cleansing
F- Redemption

Sorc
E - Blizard
D- Teleport
S - Shiver Armor
X- Static
C- Town portal skill
F - Telekinesis

Nothing is actually faster, when they say that its all about the position of your hand on the keyboard. You may be faster yourself with a specific setup, use whatever suits you the best. GL gaming

If you've used fkeys for many years it might even make you play worse trying to learn new hotkeys.

Depends on how big your hand is.

How the hell can you use only fkeys on a trapper @@
