I did that, the map is ok now.
I'm pretty weak (and not so skilled) though, so sometimes the running gets delayed because I have to avoid/kill some monsters.

I wouldn’t anything. Iirc, Aldur weapon can get 3 sockets. So wait for that and use that as temp. But butchers or headstriker are what you want.

Damn, I hadn't thought of that.

For now I put an Ith rune in it, which increased my damage a lot. Tonight I'll see if Andy at P8 is easier now.

So my Aldur's weapon + Ith + Amn is doing wonders. High damage and 17% life leech makes me practically invincible as long as my merc is alive to give my Blessed Aim.

Travincal, Mephisto and Izual were practically a walk through the park. Slow, yes, but easy.

Some nice drops meanwhile. I couldn't use any of them though. I'm keeping the amulet in my stash however -- it will be really useful when I start Hell.

Did some more Andariel runs on P1. Not much news, other than that I found Naj's Circlet. The strength from that item is pretty good for my damage and could come in handy when I find a new (high str) weapon, so I decided to start using it.
