Probably not a good idea. If union workers understand one thing, it's unity. They will protect each other and blacklist someone they don't think belongs.

to be 100% honest i'm not sure how to go about any of it, i was legit considering getting a hold of some type of lawyer but it just seems like such a drastic step, and like some real heavy things could come of it.

but at the same time, is it one of those deals you gotta just do what you thinks right... i've brought this up with another guy at my shop that follows same pages, and he thinks i'm just being a bitch about it, and this is just the way the trade is, which made me even more pissed lol...

thats a GREAT point.

i'm non union. i don't plan on going union. But i've heard it much, much different in union shops, at least locally, i've heard of guys getting fired for using racism on sites... not sure if its just "grass is greener" kind of deal or if they truly are different mentality, but ya, its 99% non union members that are open about it.

i was gonna try and just load all the screen shots and what not in one email, with a somewhat detailed description of what i've came across and such. basically try and do it anon, but i'm not sure they'd do anything without being able to contact me...

If you have evidence they broke the law then report it to the authorities, if they are just posting some racist memes and using racist language then leave it. It's that simple, you don't need to over-complicate what is a very cut and dry situation.

not over-complicating it, i'm not sure if them posting claiming they've charged more would even hold up, or if they could just claim they said it to "fit in"

i'm more looking for other tradesmen / employers that have seen or know of something i could do. Also, to just sit back and let shit slide is a pretty lazy way to handle shit. That's how things go from good to bad in this country and you shouldn't be so docile.

yup, non union democrat and dont plan on going union, I'm deep in enemy lines.

I dont want to sit on the bench, i'd rather have steady work then file unemployment every so often, and i really dont like the idea of paying to work or having to switch shops to stay working.
