xfering in a public game

Long time ago: traded tarn 50% mf for wormskull, the +1 necro helmet. I was thinking, that I can always trade back, apparently not and wormskull was only useful for necros...

Bought a gemmed gull, instead of real gull - scammer kept clicking the trade screen and moving the gull, finally changed it to a gemmed dagger and accepted...

Some time ago I managed to lose some orange shield somehow, I am not sure if I sold it to Akara or what

Also I did not use D2jsp for a long time, my accounts on other 'legit' sites are few years older

I played legit - only "hack" was loader, that was "okay" for Blizzard, they even posted it on their forum. One day they have changed their mind - and banned like 200 000 accounts (I think this was in 2006). Lost my accounts with best gear including prelods. I am not sure if one could not wait 1 month (3 months?) and get the gear back... I quit the game for a year



But funniest thing is a story told to me by a friend: some guy kept dropping gear in a duel game to show off, friend was on a necro -> made iron golem from his gear XD

Was playing diablo 2 Classic. Got a level 80 barb and maxed bash and some literally trash stats. This was before reset. Then I made a new guy, ww, with out shouts/bo and i remember everyone getting so pissed at me and constantly unpartying me.. Got to level 85, then I finally did it right and was #1 in the ladder for almost an entire season. before bots and before 99

These are classic guys! I don't meant to laugh at your misfortunes but it definitly makes me feel better about my own stuff-ups!

gutted! Did you keep it as a trophy?

back in 2002-2003ish I befriended some guy and we played together for a few months. He helped me out with items an rushes and such, seemed like a nice trustworthy guy. I have a Cruel Matri Bow of Evis and a Cruel Great Bow of Evis on my zon that I spent a lot of time trading for to acquire. I was playing with him one day and he asked to test out my bows. I was a little hesitant but let him. Dude tried them out and left the game with them. I begged him to give me them back but he of course never did. I cut up my D2 disc's after that....and came back 2 years later.

there is a bug so u can get the runes back i used it 1 week ago just saying
