Maybe if the guides were a bit more comprehensive, and some veteran players weren't so harsh and mean, there would be more people that stick around. Shaming people for not sticking with something they don't feel welcomed to do, and don't understand very well, doesn't make much sense to me. I don't understand where that mindset comes from, even though it's something I've faced in the geek/nerd community all my time being a part of it. You'd figure that a group that is generally considered outcasts, losers (whatever word you wanna use), would be a bit more of an accepting and welcoming bunch. Sadly, however, that isn't the case, with the norm being a bunch of xenophobic elitist. Such a shame....
