Is there anyone here that has read these books and can tell me a little about them? I have been searching for a particular series I read when I was younger and I think this might be it, but I need some more information about them.

Specifically:
1. Does twelve-year-old Jarral have some sort os psychic talent or magical ability? If so, what is its nature?

2. The wizard Cryl - is he a summoner? Does he have a animal familiar that is a phoenix? Does he summon an angel named Uriel to defeat a demon made of diamond?
