The are a race. Israel is their ethno-state and any Jew can seek asylum in Israel. Only their genetic requirements to be considered a Jew are pretty high. They are more exclusive than what it took to be rounded up by Hitler.

Jews never try to proselytze for this very reason. Being Jewish is an ethnic affair, and in fact, most Jews are atheist/agnostic. They tolerate Israel being a religious state because it helps them maintain their culture and heritage. It is a source of strength.

It can not be underestimated the amount of cohesion Jews have. As a minority they have never fully integrated into another nation. They are racial supremacists and many believe that the goyim are animals in human form to be exploited. Their survival and success is largely due to them maintaining their values, but also destroying the values and cultures of those they live around.
