Just trying to be helpful here:

1. If you allowed Oath, it would enable more entrants to join. Oath is the staple weapon for Zealers @ 49. By banning Oath you are realistically preventing 90%(+) of potential entrants from joining. Oath is not Grief, there are quite alot of rares that are better then it. Would suggest reconsideration of this rule [ i.e. there is no reason to ban oath ].
2. I'm not sure the reason re: elemental damage, but again, your probably better off simply banning x amount of 209 psn charms or x amount of 20/50 charms. Noting the inherrent qualities of string of ears (which should be considered as the ONLY belt to use) this rule is potentially hurting rare weapons (which makes no sense after banning oath).

finally, on an aside, i would have thought a more freestyle zeal duel would reward the better player more compared to this click and hold arrangement.
