If Good is what's beneficent for a man, then Ultimate Good is what's good at being beneficent.

Quote
Where in the animal farming example, it's wise to employ a Happy Animal Scheme, it's also wise to employ a Clean Energy Scheme, a Controlled Population Scheme, etc.

If we are to excel and employ all the right schemes, we are being logically and creatively apt.

My case then is that what's ultimately good for humans is logical and creative aptness, because it takes creative and logical aptitude to make correct decisions. and in making correct decisions, goods we commit can only become greater.

I do not speak for all of us as a pack, but all of us individually.

Be wise now.

If good is what's beneficent, then my complex argument that ultimate good is aptness in achieving what's beneficent, surely stands.

This is not plotting what to do in the future, only, it's being logically and creatively astute passively (like you were agile), so that in the future, you make good decisions.

I have no idea what kind of explanation he wants at this point. I think most of us can agree that the impossibility of creating a perfect moral structure is the inherent cultural and personal perspectives that will always skew perspective of right vs wrong.

Yeah, I don't know either. It's like he doesn't understand that perfect solutions don't exist for most, if not all problems, and that there's always going to be some sort of weighted cost/benefit decision to be made.

It's good to see threads like this in the forums. Also, morality has nothing to do with being religious obviously... I would say there is an element of spirituality in it for some people but that's based off perception and someone's own personal views. I do think that the law of attraction coincides with this. Even if people use have differing views on norms/values, I think that their positive sides will attract like minded individuals. A thought isn't an action but it is a bus for initiative. They say it's extremely beneficial to monitor your thoughts and engage in optimistic pondering because eventually your body will catch on. You'll start changing character defects and as they say practice makes perfect.

You know what is good or bad
If you don’t then you don’t belong in society
