The referee and many people on french tv said there was no foul since Lopes did touch the ball, what do you all think?

This ref might very much be going to WC in Russia so I'd appreciate hearing your pov.

yeah he got the ball but it’s incredibly reckless he torpedoes towards the attacker. Mbappes out what 2 months?

no foul. both natural movements. It was unfortunate that they were both so far away from the ball. But def no foul here.

It doesnt look fault to me, the goalkeeper tried to play the ball while Mbappé in my vision had very low chances to reach that ball and risked an injury for both players.
As for Neuer he obviously looking for ball and because of the speed, after hitting it, he couldnt avoid Higuain.
So there was taken the right decision in both cases.

Yes, thats true.

I find it hard to tell foul or not, in both cases. All 4 Guys in those situations are going for the ball.

Its very hard to tell imo. Lets say a hard tackle on the pitch... Most guys say, player got the ball, no foul. But then again, if you rush with 35kmh and straight leg for the ball, you will probably also hit the player. Some ref call it, some ref do not.

I tend to his opinion in both cases:

Saw it live, was under the impression that it was a definite foul.

As ampoo pointed out, Lopes was reckless and didn't care for Mbappe, and although I get that you do things in the heat of the moment, and anyone who has played a proper football match in their lives will know this, but I think he went too far.

+ it seems like he didn't want to mitigate the impact and just went all-in.

it's like as if you can see on his facial expression that he calculated that that was going to happen and he didn't mind it at all.. at least that's what I think.
