Change your game play.

Go with 100 vita only and add strength or dexterity for the weapon type you are using, with a barbarian, I would assume Strength since you start this higher than dexterity, thus, you will only use strength ratio weapons.

I personally would use a level 30+ Warhammer with 10-50% enhanced effect over using a level 30 Club with 20-80% enhanced effect from level 30 to level 71 [Note: this being the fact that you only have those items to MQ with.]

More on a personal note, I would rather go with a Guardian build which uses every type of heavy weapon BUT, the intelligence starting stat and healing capacity of a guardian will make it easier for you to climb... also... do not forget to re roll to find better gear using maps on better event days and so forth.
