Hey guys, so I've been playing Hearthstone for the last 3 years and started hitting top 100 legend the past few months. I've also participated in some open tournaments locally and some online tournaments for points. I was able to lookup my points ranking and was tied with a few others at #1224 in overall points standing (for the month of December I think? or maybe it was for the Winter qualifier) I'd like to take this a bit more seriously and plan out some events this year, then see where I stand in the competitive scene

Anyways i'm wondering if anyone has links to helpful tools in finding Majors/Minors (these give more points towards seasonal qualifiers, world championship tour, etc) and also if you have any other suggestions for point getting please let me know.

Thanks, I think strivewire is for free and low $ tournaments right? If anything it will be good practice prior to a minor/major

I am highly proficient with the "meta decks" but can sometimes struggle with preparations for exotic decks that are looking to hard counter segments of the meta anticipated within a tournament

Looking at their tournament list it looks like they have some that offer points, if I'm understanding "Challenger Cup" correctly. And they occasionally have tournaments with prize-pools in the thousands.

Strivewire used to be completely free and very intuitive and now it's just a confusing money grab

I saw those buffed prize pools and am thinking about giving it another shot too. I used to be a pretty competitive player.
Not sure if i can invest the time and energy tho.

Challenger cups: Organizers must use an approved tournament platform such as Battlefy, StriveWire, ESGA, or ESL Play.
i'd check those out.
If im reading it right they are a seperate alternative to point qualifications i believe, which is a shakeup from what im used to.

The bigger tournaments are in-person tour stops.

yeah not thrilled with what its become. they used to have some decent prize pools for free tournaments. but i understand the struggle to try to monetize their platform.

They are still a host of the (free) hct qualifier tournaments tho. (called challenger cups this year). just have to wade through the other junk.
