Eating Cano's contract, who should end up servicable for 2-3 years with at least 1.5-2.0 WAR, isn't that bad. Plus he loves NY, shines the brightest, and we're building around our pitching.

Lets just contend for something first before we jump to any conclusions on anything. I just want to be above 500 and be competitive. Then make the playoffs and do wonders.

This is probably the best and deepest team we have had in a while. Better than 07-08, in terms of having a well rounded team, ample depth, and solid pitching.
