defeated elder and guardians like 2 hours ago , been running all shaper maps that appear... still no elder

anyone else having troubles with this?

my elder just randomly appears without having to do shaper maps after killing elder.

Same here.
Also he was spreading even if I killed shaper influenced maps not connected to elder influences maps (they were like 10 maps between).
