It means less gold for items, thus demand for gold is higher than in-game items.

economy doesnt lie fg/exalt is higher than ever, meaning that even if jsp is dying, poe is dying faster than it

High end items inflation is particularly bad.

Alt arts has gone from 350ex max to 5-9 mirrors. And mirror fees are 50-200ex, from 20-40 exalts on old loath bane. And eternals are from 2.5 to 90ex.

On Pa roughly exalted were 1.12 to 98 cents per exalts few years ago, now they're roughly 78 cents each, with 4 times as many sellers.

So on average exalts has lost 20% in value, but truly valuable things has more than tripled in price.

Meanwhile 20ex builds can do all content, whereby full body mirrored is just a nessicity.

On top of that, when new leagues starts, fg to currency exchange rate inflation is almost 1.6 to 2.7 times quick ( currency price stability.) Meaning jsps sellers market is competitive as ever, if not more than few years ago, ( more supply, less demand)

from my d2 experience, that smells like botting to me or some other way of creating mass amounts of currency

but since you said that eternals skyrocketed from 2.5 to 90, that probably means no duping is possible, probably just botting !

Few variables.

Eternals went legacy, most currency sold is around 40 boted 60 traded with people, via skype/ jsp/ in game or other hack forums.

Rich becomes richer. Pretty simple economics.

I don't bot, but remember that "massive bot wave?" The games econmaics went really really down hill from it. ( nobody could afford anything)

Either we all have currency and don't need it. Or nobody wants currency but it isn't there. No middle ground really.

Game is casual now, power creep is strong. Whoever works really doesn't really bother me.

Especially when most expensive unqiues is like a 55ex head hunter.

We are also with the Russian and Thai scum servers now, if anything these fucker has pushed our lower currency to become even more worthless, 120c per ex 1.2k late per ex.

Meanwhile 90% of unqiues are worth 1c if not vendored.
