remember back when d3 was first announced with melting diablo logging every day announcing blizzards new game? remember how hyped everyone was when it was DIABLO 3. all we knew is that after what felt like forever we finially get another diablo game. this was 7 years after LoD release. now we are going to be reaching 6 years of diablo 3 since d3 release this year. and taking into account that there was no blizz north where tthey have to cancel the game and then make their own. think about it d3 bnorth was canceled 2005 so thats like 4 years down the drain and we got d3 announcement from blizz south 3 years later

my prediction is that d4 is going to be announced this blizzcon and its not going to be an isometric/top down game like other diablos. the reason is that every blizz fanboy not interested in the diablo franchise even if d3 was good because they dont like top down view. a third person or first person will grab a whole new audience and at the same time they know that all their fail things they do is more forgiviable when it will be a third person game. i also think outside of being a new perspective that this game is going to follow a completely game design overall. i dont think we will be going through the acts to play single player and then grind some gayballs things. i think this game will be more like mmorpg but its not going to be like wow with raids and stuff and millions of quests. i still think it will be easy to hit high level within a couple days. this game wont be anything like wow but still be more like mmorpg

u are thinking of an d3 mmorpg, similar to how marvel heroes was structured at the network level? if so, then yes i could see that

i loved how marvel heroes worked as an open world ARPG

I think they learned their lesson with D3. D2 will always be top dog. Do D4 in the style of D2 with multiplayer/character builds in the fashion and story of d3 style then we have us a game.
