I have an old truck would like to get one, any thoughts

how much should I expect to pay to get it installed, long bed?

have a 7in pioneer double din unit, nothing special.

avoid any and all backup cams under 40 bucks on amazon. I've tried several and after 2-3 car washes these get water inside the lens and never dry. It's really easy to install yourself if you have some basic electrical wiring knowledge. I'd gander in the direction of $250-$300 to pay a shop to put one in

sure you can find a deck with the camera with it already.. just plug and play this way

already have the deck installed



yeah was worried about the cheap ones, was thinking of going for 80-150 $
best buy charges 130$ to install.

paid 100 for double din and received a backup cam with it... install was free, i did it myself, and had to cut ductwork and still charged myself nothing

I was given a quote of $1200 for a rear-view mirror with built in screen and backup camera, which I think is a ripoff.

Ugh I'd never let best buy work on my things, do it yourself, you care about your truck those guys make 12.00 a hour and couldn't care less about the install

might want to invest in a rearview mirror and a couple of sideview mirrors first. those and the ability to turn your head and eyes at an angle

baby steps.
