my best experience yet is to talk to a bunch of cool cows while having a giant steak in my bag.

Whatever I passed Asians on the street and I'm walking my dog I casually say "come On To gaegogi...." Like that's his name.

Sometimes that burst out laughing.

I might get a dolsit bowl today now.

Make some Bibimbap. It's got a cool name and is real tasty.

I order a lot of asian groceries online, easy to find if you look. Though if you have an Asian market near you you're probably better off going there for most things. Our local Asian market doesn't do daikon or umeboshi so I have to order some stuff online.

e/ for recipes I watch a lot of Cooking with Dog and Maangchi among others.

This is the Bibimbap I made and it was super tasty.

I love youtube for cooking, probably my favourite thing, with gaming related stuff being close second.
I'm very visual so I like seeing a recipe and how it looks rather than read it. Almost guaranteed to have many recipes/videos about any sort of dish that I imagine myself eating for that particular meal so I can pick the one that sounds the best or fit what I have at hand.

I used to watch a lot of Food Network Channel (US/CAN) back in the 2000s but now it suffered from the reality TV craze, shit is just cooking battle shows. To increase viewership because money is more important, they pandered to non-cook people so that they actually tune in to the channel.

Now I largely use youtube and Gusto which is a a cooking channel in Canada filled with actual cooking shows.

Edit : I love those asian soup/rice dishes where everything is separated at plating and then you can just mix it up, watching all the colors mesh together as you twirl the ingredients around to complete the dish really gets the hunger going even more.

Gaegogi Jeongol is nice sometimes. Other times it tastes like shit.

There needs to be some kind of regulation and farming for the animals. Otherwise you just end up eating someone's poorly fed pet and it tastes like kibble. Animals that eat better taste better. Feed that dog a vegetarian diet plus supplements and it'll taste great. Feed it dog food and it'll taste like dog food.

I don’t know much about farming or how diet affects the taste of meat, but that makes sense. In the DPRK dog farms are, of course, heavily regulated, and the consumption of its meat is pretty popular (especially after 2010, when it’s price was capped by law), so I guess it tastes well. I’ve only had it once, outside of the US, and I loved it.

From my teen years until now i've been convinced i can beat any non-trained attack dog in a fight to the death. Like a trained pitbull or a police K9 unit could prob beat me but ill straight up choke any dog out that attacks me. Just let it bite my arm/leg and its game over.

There are also dozens of folks in the MMA forum that are convinced they could best an actual fighter even though they’ve had no training and have probably never been in a fight in their lives.

I believe the word for that is ‘delusion’.
