So a physical werebear is one of the last build I want to make. I've been doing some research and getting some mixed info on whether off weapon ias works for werebear...I true it with bots go and it doesn't seem to have an effect. Can anyone confirm this?

Can anyone recommend any weapons for pvm? Ebotd gp is not bad and can hit decent speed. Any tips is appreciated.

Yes, off weapon ias works at werebear and it has been proven here many times.

Difference between werebear and werewolf is that werewolf gets ias from skill itself ( werewolf ) what affects wolf form attack speed and thats why werewolf wont usually need off weapon ias. Werebear skill wont add any ias and thats why ias from amulet or soc choice like ias jewel will help reach next ias break point at most of cases.

Hmm and about items, you said that you are making " physical werebear " so are you planning to make some Maul / Shockwave Druid ? If you do here is some EQ suggestion:

- Guilli " 15 Ias / 15@ Jewel "

- Upg Ribcracker " Shael "

- Forty

- LoH

- SoE

- Gores

- HL

- Raven

- Melee Ring

Reason why i pick Upg Ribby as weapon is with Ribby and Forty you will reach 63% fcr break point what help cast Shock Wave faster.

And avoid discussion about " useless off weapon ias " here is picture about it

That is extremely helpful, thank you. I farm on p8 so the CB on ribby has minimal effect hence why I use ebotd. I looked up giant thresher on titans and it says a botd gt can hit 4fpa with 120total ias, but I tried it and it was obviously not the case.

according to the chart, is it just not possible to hit 4fpa with oias?

No. With 60 weapon ias you can only reach 6 frames when having 70 off weapon ias.
4 frames is not possible.

Well if Ribby is not your thing then Eth Tomb is also good choice. With 70 Oias you can hit 5 fpa, if you soc your Eth Tomb with 2 x Shael + Zod, rest Ias cames from Ias jewel + HL + LoH + Noscoil -> 5 Fpa swings and gigls !

e: It's just matter of taste do you want spend your Zod to Eth BoTD GT or soc your Eth Tomb Both works well, personally i would go with Eth Tomb.

I read that it is achievable with 145 ebotd gt...so I'm going to use 15 ias andies. Only way to knownfore sure is if I test it myself...

I would love a 3os etomb...I still have 4 chams I could use but I play sp hc and everything is self found. It was only two days ago that I finally found an ereapers. I do have couple 3os non eth tombs, but they don't compete with ebotd.

Well Eth BoTD GT is really good choice too If have base, sure make it.

Well...did some testings with ebotd gt + loh, 15ias Andy, ncoil, hl = 145ias and found the fpa look very different from a 120pb. The fpa look more like 5fpa, however is still a frame faster than ebotd gp.

I also tried a 39ias grief + 85 oias and also cant reach the 4fpa that a 120pb can...seems like while oias does work...the effect is just different than weap ias. I might just end up doing a phy/fc build with gt...better ar/ias/dmg.

Wias is 10times more effective than oias, but u can see this in the ias calc charts i guess...

Best possible PVM weapon:

Eth Tombreaver 3 sox.
2* 40/15ias + zod
this + 70 off weapon ias you hit the fastest 5 fps attack speed for maul with pretty impressive damage. And you get resist and other nice bonuses from the eTomb
