Laptop are not designed for gaming.... Sooner or later you will get problems with the battery and cooling

Buy a decent laptop with TB3 (40 gig transfer, not 10 or 20) and get this:

Saves you alot of money, and you can actually carry the laptop and have batterylife of a few hours when you don't need the gpu.

Sufficient cpu/gpu torque
More than enough RAM
SSD - check

This is a fine machine for path, fam. I've ran with a roughly equivalent if not slightly slower cpu in breach beyond burning ground pack size maps and managed to stay 40-50 fps at the worst, and that scenario is as taxing on my fps as my endgame got.

Cooling likely won't be a problem, PoE will not tax all those cores and typically won't max out your GPU either, at least in the thick of the action, sure in the hideout and etc it will. Good rule of thumb is, the more action is on the screen the less your gpu gets utilized.

As for battery, yeah it's gonna be shitty if you expect high fidelity high fps without being plugged into the wall. Just run min settings, cap cpu max state, maybe in 720p and/or run dynamic resolution when on battery for longevity. If you wanted to go the extra mile, you could even run off the cpu's integrated graphics. iirc, and i usually do, the 7700hq igpu is decent enough for PoE.

IF you can add another drive, do so, and get a 2TB+ HDD for storage. this is completely optional.

do not run with vsync or dynamic resoltuion. Each of those actually degrade performance more than expected (yes I'm aware VSync syncs fps to refresh rate, but it gets halved in hideouts. (DRes doesn't trip when this happens.) Dynamic Resolution currently does nothing as a result.) Source on this comes directly from tinkering from settings and long personal playtests in areas, maps, towns & hideouts.

otherwise, not a bad laptop at all.
