if I have a dimensional blade and socket 2 -15 req jewel will it lower the ilvl from 25 to 18?

i assume by ilvl you actually mean rlvl, the lvl required to use the item. the answer is no. in diablo 2, unlike diablo 3, there is no way to reduce the item lvl requirement.

going with a Wolf Druid. is a 6 socket crystal sword with jewels the best kind of weapon to get?

Khalims flail or an upped horadric staff (I think it made it lvl 5 hand axe) used to be pretty awesome for 18 druids.
