Seems like a pretty unnecessary change.
The Ryzen 3.8ghz OC while the 6700k is 4ghz base?

No the i7 was at 4.5GHz. 3DMark doesn't list the overclock in the "overview" stats. If you scroll down it shows the max clock for the i7 during bench was 4.5GHz.

I got the Ryzen 5 1600 for $60. Felt like giving it a go.

Nice
Pick up
Ram used in both
Looks like 1080s running different drivers and clocks
And Windows versions
Nice either way

Yeah. My 1080 is overclocked a tad more in the Ryzen one, but my RAM is also only 2666MHz C16 where the Intel run was 3000MHz C15. Funny enough, the Intel one with the lower clocked 1080 scored higher. I'm thinking it's my 2666MHz RAM holding me back.
