lol you do realize a lot of people do oil changes themselves, right?

Why in the fuck would you pay someone $20+ to do something that you can do yourself in a matter of minutes. I get that a lot of men these days are women with soft office hands, but still.

It's an oil change.

You realize that you'd only save a few dollars if you changed the oil yourself right? Not $20+ as you're making it out to be.

Not really.

The last oil change I got (Was lazy as fuck, normally I do them) was $50. 5-6 quarts of oil is ~30.

Regularly priced name-brand motor oils (Quaker State, Pennzoil, and Castrol) are priced from $3.50 to $5.50 per quart. -2012
So the price has went up since this staterment.

But still yeah, I didn't realize the price jump in comparison. I knew it was there, didn't know you're paying 40% extra to have someone put a hose in your rig and pump it with oil.

Synthetic? Or standard oil? $50 is pretty high.

Who doesn't use fully synthetic?

May as well just use extra virgin olive oil if you're not gonna use synth.

Older vehicles don't use/need synthetic and would probably be a waste of money to put synthetic in them.
