No team has ever covered a spread that was over 20 pts (as the games official spread)

Pats are -16.5

It's pretty rare to have a 3td spread in an NFL game. 16.5 is a lot different than 20 so not sure why that's relevant

And the last one I remember being higher than that was the undefeated patriots vs a 0 wins dolphins team and the dolphins covered.

Was just kinda throwing out a stat that surprised me. Doesnt directly relate to the pats game.... Only cause you guys are good at counting



There were 10 nfl games with a spread over 20, none covered

Highest cover i can recall was 9ers -18.5 vs the Chargers in the Superb Owl. Also prop was 49-1 on 9ers scoring exactly 49 points which they did.
