Comprehensive RulesSending Forum Gold• You do not have to send up-front for your bet, though you may do so if you want to.
• Welcher/BL users, 2017 accounts, and those listed in
Tx6's profile may not participate, and any forum gold sent from these users will be considered a donation.
• It is your responsibility to calculate your loss and send your forum gold. I will not necessarily calculate it for you and post it.
Formatting/Posting Your Bet• All bets posted in this thread must be accompanied by the word confirm, cd, c'd, c/d (or some similar abbreviation) or be sent up-front for confirmation. I auto-confirm all valid, confirmed bets in this thread.
• At a minimum, all bets must include the amount you want to wager and the team name.
• If you fail to write the juice or spread in your post, then I am just going to assume you are betting on the ML for that game.
• If you fail to confirm your bet, then we will both be on the honor system as far as payouts go. Try to weasel out of payment, and I'll ban you from future bookie and blind odds threads I host.
When to Post Your Bet• All bets must be posted before the listed start time.
• All edits must be made before start time.
• Example: If a game is listed at 1:00pm, a post or edit time-stamped at 1:01pm will be void.
• A post made before a game starts and then edited several minutes after the game has started will result in you being banned from participating, and any fg you sent up-front will be considered a donation.
• All listed times are EST.
Retracting Bets• No bets may be retracted, although you can edit your posts freely until game start. There is one exception to this rule (see below).
• If you retract a bet, then you will auto-lose that amount.
• You may add to a previous bet, but the total may not exceed the maximum amount per line.
• If a line closes at 3 points different from the line I posted in the original post, then all bets for that game are auto-retracted for both sides. This does not affect parlays that are already in-progress, although it does affect parlays that are not yet in progress (they will be bumped down one level). I will use the closing line for 5dimes according to
http://www.vegasinsider.com/nfl/ (click "line movement" for offshore odds for your respective game to see the closing line). This rule is in place to protect both you and me from huge line shifts, since neither of us can retract bets.
Amount Per Bet• The maximum amount you may wager on a positive line is 1,000
• The maximum amount I will pay out on a negative line is 1,000
Parlays• Parlays must have a minimum of three picks.
• If a pick pushes, then the parlay will bump down one level (a 3-teamer becomes a 2-teamer)
• Parlays can win a maximum of 3,000 fg, no more.
• Parlays must use the following calculator:

• You may not have both a ML and spread bet for the same game in one parlay.
• Example: you cannot have Panthers +2 in multiple parlays, but you can have Panthers +2 and Panthers ML in up to two different parlays. You cannot have Panthers ML and Panthers +2 in one parlay.
• It would help me a lot if you included the amount to win in your parlay, but this is not necessary.
If/Then Bets and Doubling-up• You may bet fg that you have won, but which I have not yet paid out. I am essentially mediating your winnings until I pay it out.
• Example: Let's say you won 100 fg from your 1:00pm game. You may wager that amount plus any amount you sent u/f on any of the later games.
• You may set an if/then bet.
• Example: You may bet on a 1:00pm game, and then, in the same post, set a stipulation that you would like to risk your potential winnings on a later game.
Mistakes• If you accidentally send an amount of forum gold exceeding the amount that I do accept, then this will count as both sides confirming the maximum amount that I do accept. Any excess forum gold will be sent back after I pay out everyone else.
• Example: you send 2,000 forum gold on the Panthers +2 -110; the auto-confirmed amount will be 1100 on the Panthers +2 -110 to win 1,000.
• If you make a minor typo (such as an incorrect number, or a mixed-up +/-) then it will count as betting on the correct line for that game.
• Example: You accidentally write that you are betting on the Steelers +7 when the line is actually Steelers -7; the confirmed bet will be on Steelers -7. Alternately, if you accidentally write the Steelers -4, then the confirmed line will be Steelers -7.
• If you post or edit after the listed start time, then your bet is void.
• If you don't confirm your bet, then we are both on the honor system to pay out. I will pay your bet if you win with the understanding that you will pay even if you lose. Failure to pay will result in you being banned from future bookie and blind odds threads.
Payouts• Payouts will not be sent until around midnight at the earliest, possibly even late the next day, since I'm a very busy man. The "if you're logged on, then you must pay out immediately" rule does not apply to me in this thread.
• Payouts will be sent in FIFO (first in - first out) order.
• Max amount I can be held liable: 40,000 fg. If my losses exceed this amount, then all bets after the one that broke me (or could break me) will not be auto-confirmed. I will not calculate this amount before the day is over, so if it's late in the day and you're betting with me, you run the risk of having your bet unconfirmed or not paid out. Sending up-front does not affect this rule, though you will be refunded your wager amount.
The Final Rule• If you make a wager in this thread, then you agree to the above terms and conditions.
