D3 obv better for casual play with your family. PoE is overly complicated for that.

From a serious player perspective, when talking about recent arpgs:

PoE > Grim Dawn -> Van helsing -> D3

Other arpgs are either in early access or not released. D2/D1 while amazing games, are old as fuck and should be forgotten. There, I said it.

I consider myself a pretty casual player and because of that, I prefer to play Diablo 3. I do own PoE and have spent countless hours playing it but it's just a lot more involved and a lot more work that I do not really enjoy putting in.

you kidding me right? d1 cant even be compared to these types of arpgs its not even the same genre pretty much. its just about defeating diablo not grinding forever. and d2 actually has some pvp while d3 and grim dawn are pvm grind forever games with a not as cool setting as d2

You wanna tell me you can introduce D2 to your kids or friends new to arpgs and they'll just love to play in 800x600?

its old like many great games but it doesnt mean it should be forgotten. if people want to play it they will and they arent going to care weather a kid born in 2010 wants to play it
