Great, now do you have the exact make/model or a Speccy screenshot?

We need to know if your laptop already has a vid card inside it. If it does, then we just need to enable it.

/e It will look like this.... ASUS X556UQ-NH71 ..it may be on the back of the laptop. ASUS is the make and those numbers and letters are the model number.

Ok, you don't already have a vid card.

Best advice is save up and get a laptop that does. The external GPU enclosures, are pretty much a waste of money. You need to use AC wall power when you use it and they are fairly big.
With a $600 budget you could almost get a laptop with internal vid card...say $1000 would do it.

/e Like these, for example...

Unfortunately you don't have a discrete graphics card. However depending on what you want to play, you could do fine on integrated graphics, especially at that resolution. I played d3 and league on a 720p laptop with a 2000 series intel i5 for a whole year.

What is your goal? Do you wan't a laptop with an external video card that you can use when you get home? Do you wan't a desktop build? Any laptop with a good dedicated graphics card is out of the question at that price point (assuming USD)
What games do you want to play?

Still this.

Now we're getting somewhere, we will be back in a few mins with builds.
