The only surprising part is how long it took Trump to come to Moore's defense. This is Trump's shtick. Anything put out by the mainstream media which doesn't help him politically can be labeled as fake news, and so many Republican voters accept that. In the mind of many Republicans, the MSM isn't just biased news, it's completely fabricated and intentionally false news.

I do wonder how this works out long-term for the Republican party. Trump ushered in control of the White House and Congress, but the way the demographics are shifting, and the way the Republican party is moving further to the right, I don't see how the party can survive in it's current form.

Why can’t it be Ivanka and not Donald :( if we have to have a Trump at least one who can form sentences would be nice.
