Tatum would have been a cool guard next to Simmons to develop. Or trade it for a good PF. You know that #1 overall with Fultz there was coveted. I know they have Redick and covington who are both good, covington being more of a long term plan, and Redick there for his veteran presence and sharp shooting, but I hope Fultz pans out well.

Fultz is a shooter. Once you have your cornerstone players just give em shooters

Fultz isn't a true PG

He's more a Dwayne wade type who can attack off the dribble and create his own shots or play off ball with Simmons

He was one of the best 3pt shooters in college before he did whatever the fuck he did to his shoulder

So much contradictory shit in 1 post

Fultz is a "scoring point guard" but in todays positionless basketball he can play either guard spot, dude has good vision and playmaking ability.

When Simmons is off the floor, Fultz can run the offense and score. When he's not, he will play off the ball and as we saw in college he's actually a really good shooter when his shoulder isn't all sort of fucked up.

I'm not sure what the shit fuck that was earlier in the season when they tried to play him with his shoulder, not even able to raise it above his head...

I question if Fultz can shoulder the load as a PG when Simmons is off the floor.

The thing I don't understand is.... Simmons is a really good point guard. Why use a #1 pick on a true point guard??? Could have traded it for an elite PF, or draft a position you don't have a superstar at.... (PG and C).

Because the Sixers always draft “best available project“, no matter the circumstances.

lol k

Is this the reason why Noel and Okafor, two of their three back-to-back-to-back picks didn't pan out, right?

Is this why you draft MCW for a trial?

Is this why you draft Fultz when you have Simmons and Embiid about to return knowing both are good at making plays for others?

Nobody hits on 100% of their draft picks dude. If you want a perfect FO then you need to hire a bunch of fortune tellers
