yeah i had a few and first thing that stopped working was the hdd on 3 models. lke 6 month lifespan with daily use in school/university.

Anything with an SSD in it is going to have a shit fucking pentium or celeron processor and 4 gb ram, and will choke as soon as you load up powerpoint. Laptop HDD's are plenty durable, they are designed for low power usage, and therefore don't work as hard. Sacrificing the SSD for more ram and a faster processor will give you a better overall experience, plus you'll have more than just 30 gigs of space to store files.
