He was never a legit 145er. He fought at LW before he went into the FW division of the UFC. He made 145, but if you check the rest of the division, you'll see he did it for the gold.

He cleared a midget division. He got outclassed in his 1st fight at WW by a skinny mexican tall LW.

And he was a 145'r even before the ufc.. im sure you are aware but he had both the 145 and 155 belt in Cage Warriors.

He has had 3-4 lightweight bouts prior to the ufc compared to what, 10 - 11 featherweight bouts?
