Quora has an agenda, I haven't figured out what it is yet, but it is definitely biased.

attempts to implement communism dont actually result in equality. thats a really poor metric for determining whether they are communist or not.
the fact that bribery exists is also irrelevant. bribery was commonplace under totalitarian communist regimes. communism caused terrible shortages and the black market was an escape.

That being said they are far less communist than they used to be. Their emerging markets and broad policy shifts are common knowledge.

Biased toward pretty smart folks. It definitely leans liberal, and the posters tend to be very knowledgeable.

Yep, the solution to gun deaths is more guns, solution to oil spills is more pipelines, solution to anything the right are actually against like abortions however is to ban them.

Why exactly would a new pipeline be helpful in respect to reducing spills?

Replace outdated technology and old broken down pipelines with new double walled pipes with better technology.

It’s a pretty simple concept.
