Been scouring the posts to see what people are suggesting. Don't know whats good or bad nowadays, so any recommendation and advice is very welcome

I also have a brand new samsung SSD 850 EVO 250 gig that im looking to use. So may not need harddrive.

What I am thinking from everyone's post that I been scouring. Just mainly don't know what kind of motherboard/powersupply are good.

AMD https://ca.pcpartpicker.com/list/QJsWxY
Pros: 6-core/12-thread CPU, cheaper parts means better video card (20% more GPU performance)
Cons: overclocking RAM can be finicky

Intel https://ca.pcpartpicker.com/list/rwGwNN
Pros: considerably better single-core performance
Cons: more expensive parts means worse video card (20% less GPU performance), no hyperthreading

How much of a boost is going from a 1060 GTX to 1070 GTX, and then from a 1070 GTX to 1070 GTX TI

Also you would suggest going to a "mini" tower case over mid, or whats the pro/cons on case sizing?

Thanks. Would like to buy this weekend if possible.

1060 6GB -> 1070 = ~30%
1070 -> 1070 Ti = ~15-25% depending on overclock

No difference in size. Just from experience an ATX case ends up being a lot of empty space that takes up a lot of room. Unless you want to SLI you'd be fine with mATX.

There isn't going to be any price difference between the sizes?

Why? A 1070 Ti is $50 cheaper and can overclock to beat a reference 1080.

Not much of a price difference no. Definitely not more expensive to go smaller.

Would dropping down to a 1060 GTX be just fine with that set up? I feel that over 500 for a 1070 may be to much for me to pay lol. The 300-400 range would be nicer.

Going to work so ill check in after and hopefully purchase.
Thanks for the help everyone!
