Not true at all. My friend the Audi tech would shock you with maintenance prices. The engineering is asinine and advances are made solely for the sake of advancing. In many cases the advances are less reliable and harder to work on by adding no value.

I have a ton of luxury cars at my shop and they all cost a ton
The only thing euro car have more is those decarb every 30k miles and cam follower tappet on audi’s but meanwhile you’ll have to deal with shitty asian vvt system that will cost you way more in the end lol

Ok. So explain the Lexus equivalent of a timing chain job on an A4? Or how about the abhorrently expensive adaptive cruise control sonar sensors?

Or how about the fact that all of these parts and jobs are more expensive on an A4 vs a Jetta? Same car, same tech, same dealership group, different labor rate, different parts price.

Mercedes, I own 3, they are cheap on maintenance because the quality is 100%

In your price point, I would go with a 2-3 year old E550, for around 42-47 grand. Pocket the rest. 4.7L twin turbo V8, all wheel drive, $2,600 RENNtech tune, good for 525hp, 625tq. Seriously not much at all can touch you.
