I think you posted in the thread I made a few weeks ago about PC problems, basically I brought my PC back to the shop and they said something was clashing with the mobo/video card and causing my cpu to crash, blue screen and go into repair mode. And the guy said to use these certain drivers for the video card, I did that and it still crashed and he said he didn't know what else to do.
So, I pulled out video card and computer works really well now with 0 crashes/restarts/blue screens, etc. Not sure what else to do at this point, but to change mobo and upgrade processor at the same time?
We established that shop wasn't creditable...

I don't really know anything about that chipset specifically, but ASRock is one of the bigger motherboard manufacturers, at least today (I don't know about 4-5 years ago). Do you know exactly what kind of power supply you have?
/e Easiest way IMO would be if you could get your hands on a similar TBP (watts usage) GFX card and see if you still get crashing. If you do, it's probably the PCI slot or power deficiency. If it doesn't, bad video card.
asrock is asus cheaper line.
while one should expect more failure rate due to being a budget board I don't tend to see a lot failing.

How to test power deficiency? Or is that power supply ample enough? How long is a power supply life? I've had the computer for a little over 2.5 years now.
theres no real way to test a psu unless you can read voltages under loads.
You can use a psu tester but they are not 100% and or more of a quick tool.
psu's can last 10+ years depending on conditions and many other factors.
I have a antec quadro 1k psu for instance and I've had it since 2008.
