Doesn't work on Mac. I'd wish indeed.

Edited: ok I apparently I can actually set the F1, F2 etc. keys. The problem is, that with the keyboard Im using I have to press fn+F1 to execute F1, and the fn key is far to the right of the keyboard close to my mouse and right hand, thus not very handy to switch between - I'd wish I could just make it work with A,S,D,Z,X,C,V etc.

Got pretty much the same set of short key you're wishing ( A,..,V ) under PC. But don't get why you couldn't set them under MAC

Yes, and even when I set them like that through escape, they don't get assigned. From googling it seems to be a known mac problem.

Okay, this is like super troll.. it seems to work to set "Skill 1" with a letter hotkey, but it doesn't work for skill 2-8. Solution?

System pref -> keyboard -> check box that makes the Fkeys the primary function.

Still looking forward to the day I can make it work for letter keys instead.
