that being said, in terms of selfishness and lack of awareness i've seen worse during pick-up football - usually from tiny dudes with barcelona shirts, cronaldo hair, and pink boots...

Women’s football is just that....women’s sports. I have nothin against them, but to call it “professional” is incorrect. Our USA women’s team is the best in the world, but if they could somehow play a competitive game against the USA men who suck, they would lose 20-0. They call them professionals because it’s divided by gender, but they are nothing more than amateurs in the grand scheme of things

thats why i think that womens football is such a big letdown, even professionals who do nothing else but playing this game are worse than your average sunday league farmer

It’s a women’s rights thing... here at least lol. All the women here are complaining they aren’t paid fairly compared to the men’s team. They say they should because their team is successful and the men aren’t. If they bring in as much money as they say they do from game days or merchandise then sure, pay them more. But they are complaining that they earn way less per result than the men do.

I could really care less, but them going on strike over wages only hurts them. The quality is awful, probably 90% of the professional women can’t complete simple passes, and it looks like watching soccer in slow motion....it’s just really bad quality. The only ones that would be hurt from no women’s soccer are the little girls who watch them as role models

I’ve seen those before, not sure how true they are though. But again, it’s hard to truly judge anything based off a friendly. THere can always be doubts about it because “one team wasn’t trying”
