are people who try to get to australia from kurdistan even refugees?
no, they are just migrants looking for their dream destination for
permanent migration
an actual refugee never gets that far, just take one look at a map
granted, there arent too many places between kurdistan and australia who
actively take in refugees when they have nothing to spare themselves
however iran is a neighbour state, that is safe and took in many displaced people
but of course its not as nice and cozy as australia
